4 signs of a True Christian

  1. A true sign that Christians recognize Yeshua is our only Savior,

  2. therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of Yeshua will be saved.”

  3. True Christians keep the Law of God.

  4. True Christians walk as Yeshua walked and lived.

  5. True Christians must overcome sin.

For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;

 

What are the 18 steps to salvation?

  1. Hear the Gospel. (Matthew 4:17John 8:32)

  2. Believe the Gospel (Hebrews 11:6, John 20:31)

  3. Repent of past sins (Luke 13:3, Acts 17:30)

  4. Confess faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:10, Matthew 10:32)

  5. Be Baptized (Galatians 3:27, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38)

  6. Be faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10)

  7. For all who obey him eternal salvation Hebrews 5:9

  8. Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.1 John 2:6 

  9.  But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:2

  10. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Romans 8:1

  11.  We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.” Acts 5:32

  12. “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.Romans 10:13-15 For 

  13. But if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments. Matthew 19:16-26 

  14.  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life…John 3:15,16

  15.  For we live by faith, not by sight. (Hebrews 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.2 Corinthians 5:7

  16. And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” John 3:

  17. Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”John 3:3

  18. So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.James 2:17-23

The problem facing the church is not that people lack a complete set of beliefs the problem is that have a full state of beliefs in mind, which they think are consistent with biblical teachings, and they are neither open to being proven wrong nor learning new insights. The bottom line is among both clergy and laity.
